About Us

Randolph Youth Theater Company (RYTC) is a non-profit community organization that strives to develop youth theatrically by building self-esteem, encouraging responsibility, inspiring creativity and developing social skills – along with showcasing many other talents.

Since its establishment in 2004, at least 1,900 characters have walked across the stage in various RYTC productions. We offer students 8 to 18 the opportunity to participate in several productions a year. Involvement in the performing arts promotes growth in many ways; it develops confidence and presentation skills, it gives individuals a medium for self-expression and it provides a forum for developing problem-solving skills and perseverance. As these students give their time and efforts to preparing a show, they also develop a sense of community with their fellow cast members. RYTC, now in our 15th season, has a significant impact in the lives of the young people of Asheboro, Randolph Coutny and the surrounding area.
